Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this salad for a ladies group of about 50 women. I made this salad for a ladies group of about 50 women. We are a service group and the Executive helped. One of the men asked if the salad could be made with another dressing because he didn't care for the one I was putting on. He ended up taking what was left of the salad home. All the ladies (and I mean all) ate everything on their plate. I have had to reprint the recipe several times for the ladies. My mother still talks about that great salad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made this for Christmas Eve supper. Made this for Christmas Eve supper. It was very well balanced. I was pressed for time so I purchased a bottle of, "Kraft Zesty Italian," and it went very well with it. I overheard a gentleman at the grocery store discussing pears and chose the ones he was buying, "Bosch" (sorry about spelling) They were more sweeter than the green pears and worked well with the salad.

Love this recipe, def scored some brownie points with the in-laws I make it every get together. I did change it a little. I use almond slices, feta cheese and sometimes apples instead of pears. I marinade the apples longer than the pears.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Thanks. Thanks. I was looking for a not so traditional cranberry receipe for Thanksgiving, and I thought a salad was just the ticket. It's a light compliment to anotherwise heavy meal.
