  • Combine onions and herbs; rub onto ribs. Place in slow cooker.
  • Mix barbecue sauce, juice and rum; pour over ribs. Cover with lid. Cook on HIGH 4 hours (or on LOW 6 hours). Transfer ribs to platter, reserving cooking liquid in slow cooker.
  • Mix cornstarch and water; add to slow cooker. Cook and stir 1 to 2 min. or until sauce is thickened. Pour over ribs.

Serving Suggestion

Serve over hot cooked rice and steamed broccoli.


Substitute 1 tsp. rum extract and 1/2 cup beef or chicken broth for the dark rum.

Special Extra

For easy cleanup, line slow cooker with plastic liner bag before filling with ingredients and cooking as directed.
