Serve this hearty soup with a mixed green salad and a glass of fat-free milk.
Omit flour, baking powder and salt. Prepare soup as directed. To prepare dumplings, mix 2 cups all-purpose baking mix and 2/3 cup milk to make soft dough; drop, by spoonfuls, into boiling soup. Simmer on medium-low heat 20 min. or until dumplings are done, covering pan after 10 min.

We liked this, but it was a little bland for our tastes. I am goin gto need to spice it up a little the next time around.
