This is very good. I used larger tuna steaks and made tuna salad out of the leftover tuna. It was wonderful. So much better than canned tuna.

What You Need

1/4

cup balsamic vinegar

1/4

cup olive oil

Tbsp. dry white wine

env. GOOD SEASONS Zesty Italian Dressing Mix

Tbsp. chopped fresh basil, divided

plum tomatoes, chopped

Tbsp. chopped red onions

1/2

cup ATHENOS Traditional Crumbled Feta Cheese

tuna steaks (1 lb.)

Make It

MIX first 4 ingredients until well blended. Stir in 1 Tbsp. basil. Mix 2 Tbsp. dressing mixture with remaining basil, tomatoes, onions and cheese; set aside. Pour remaining dressing mixture over tuna in shallow dish; turn to coat both sides. Cover; refrigerate 30 min. to 1 hour to marinate.

HEAT greased grill to medium-high heat. Remove tuna from marinade; discard marinade. Grill tuna 5 to 7 min. on each side or until tuna flakes easily with fork.

SERVE topped with tomato mixture.

Substitute

Substitute mahi mahi steaks for the tuna steaks.

Use Your Broiler

To cook tuna under the broiler instead of on the grill, place marimated tuna on rack of broiler pan. Broil, 4 to 6 inches from heat, 5 to 7 min. on each side or until tuna flakes easily with fork.

I made this with tilapia instead of tuna and it was so good. It was also very inexpensive to make using tilapia instead. Amazing!!!

I substituted salmon steaks and shaved parmesan cheese for tuna and feta. Great with grilled eggplant!

My family really enjoyed this recipe. We have also cut the tomatoes and cucumbers up larger and used the salsa recipe as a salad which was also very good

What a treat! I used dorado that was given to us by our fisherman neighbor here in MX. Instead of grilling, I baked! Also used some chile peppers to taste. Thank you! Think I'll try taco seasoning next, it's great with the tomatoes, basil and onion!

Instead of Tuna, we used Tilapia! Very flavorful, moist, smooth! Can't wait to use it again!
