  • Heat oven to 400°F.
  • Whisk mustard and dressing until well blended. Pour over chicken in shallow dish; turn to coat both sides of each breast. Refrigerate 1 hour to marinate. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade.
  • Empty coating mix into shallow dish. Add chicken; turn to evenly coat both sides of each breast. Place in foil-lined 15x10x1-inch pan.
  • Bake 20 min. or until done (165°F).

Easy Marinating

To easily marinate chicken or beef, freeze it right in the marinade. Just place the poultry or meat pieces in a resealable freezer-weight plastic bag. Add enough marinade to evenly coat the meat, then seal the bag and freeze up to 3 months. Remove from the freezer the day before cooking and place in the refrigerator to thaw. The meat will marinate in the dressing as it thaws.

Storage Know-How

Prepared Italian dressing can be stored in refrigerator up to 1 month before using as desired.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from While it was ok. While it was ok. As other comments stated I had problems with the breading. By the time I did the last piece there really wasnt any breading left to use. I may make it again, but if I do I may just try it with out the breading and maybe grill it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was easy and very tasty. This was easy and very tasty. While the coating didn't stick to the bottom of the chicken, my kids and husband just scraped it out of the dish and put it top of the chicken. The coating is excellent. Will definitly make this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I marinated the chicken for 3 hours instead of 1 hour. I marinated the chicken for 3 hours instead of 1 hour. I also left the chicken in the oven for 30 minutes. It came out so moist and tender. Not dry at all. I will definately make this recipe again!!
