    Don't hesitate to make this even if you don't have the exact ingredients. The main ingredients are the rice and the salad dressing. I've made this three more times to rave reviews using broccoli, celery, chopped tomatoes, whatever is handy. So many people have asked for the's that good.

    I have had many requests for this recipe when my guests taste this. It's a favorite takealong when I am invited to cookouts. Can add some cherry tomatoes for color substitute broccoli for the asparagus.

    I made this with a few substitutions. I used peas instead of the asparagus, tuna instead of the shrimp and red wine vinaigrette instead of the italian salad dressing and I added salt & pepper. It was very zesty. I served it in mini pita bread.
