Zesty Spinach Dip

I made this recipe for a party with the following changes-I used Zesty Italian dressing, not the dry mix, and added about a cup of whipped cream cheese to thicken the mixture up a little. It was delicious. The best part is that it doesn't need any time for the flavor to set like most spinach dips, so it's tasty right away. I also skipped the carrots and peppers.

Easy to make, big hit at the summer party!

I omitted the mustard but added 4oz of lite cream cheese as recommended by another reviewer. I also substituted zesty italian seasoning for the regular and used lite sour cream. Served it in a sourdough bread boule with some fresh veggies and it was great!

I didn't make this myself yet, but a friend has and it was just the best in my opinion.

Very tasty...next time I make I will half the mustard, instead I'll add a teaspoon of Balsamic vinegar...the only complaints I heard was too much mustard and just a tad to sweet. I also had a 4oz hunk of plain cream cheese so I threw that in there too...helped it set a little firmer and made it easier to spread on crackers.

Wonderful spinach dip! Lighter than the traditional dip made with mayo. Reduced the dijon just a bit because of the other review and was great. Everyone enjoyed!

I also added other diced veggies, it was awesome, and quick and easy to boot!!!! Will make again, and often!
