I was expecting it to be light in flavor but I like that it was actually a good amount of sweet citrus flavor. I used brown rice and I let the rice boil with the food for about 4 minutes before letting it stand to make sure the rice would be soft. I will definitely make this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is hands down my favorite Kraft recipe. This is hands down my favorite Kraft recipe. I make it all the time and just love the interesting combination of flavors. As a side note-don't plan on eating the left overs the next day--the rice is dry and the green peppers get very soggy and the flavor is diminished.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very sweet. Very sweet. I was expecting more of a Chinese Orange Chicken glaze, but it was more like a citris rice and chicken soup. I don't know if we did something wrong with the rice or what, but it just didn't work out well for us. I don't think I'll be making this one again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It was really easy, and very tasty. It was really easy, and very tasty. I made it for a dinner party, and it went well. The only suggestion I would make is to cook the rice in the microwave a little before adding it to the rest - the first time I tried it without doing this, and the rice was crunchy!

I like all of the ingredients for this recipe, so I thought that they would all blend well together. My family and I found the flavor much too sweet and the mandarin oranges desintegrated, much to my family's disappointment.

Used brown rice, cooked separately with the juices before adding in with the meat and veggies. Used stir-fry veggies instead of just green pepper. Very good, but on the sweet side.
