Zucchini Gratin

What You Need

zucchini, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices

plum tomatoes, thinly sliced

1/2

cup finely chopped red onions

1/4

cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing

Tbsp. chopped fresh basil

3/4

cup KRAFT Shredded Italian* Five Cheese with a TOUCH OF PHILADELPHIA

Make It

HEAT oven to 425°F.

ARRANGE 4 rows of zucchini alternately with 3 rows of tomatoes on bottom of 9-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray, overlapping rows as necessary. Sprinkle with onions; drizzle with dressing. Cover.

BAKE 30 to 35 min. or until zucchini is tender, uncovering after 20 min.

TOP with basil and cheese; bake 5 min. or until cheese is melted.

sliced zucchini, yellow squash, heirloom tomatoes and colored bell peppers. Then parm. cheese. second layer. topped with the zesty italian dressing and mozz. cheese for the last 10 minutes. Granddaughter ate 2 helpings.

This was yummy through and through. I cooked it again and this time I used cucumber instead of the zuchini and it was fabulous. Yes, you can cook cucumbers!

Absolutely delicious! My husband and I thought it was light, tasty and a good complement for any entree. I am sharing it with my friends and will be making it again soon.

A winner! great use of summer vegetables,and I'm not a zuke fan. I also sprinkled garlic powder--good suggestion.

Excellent recipe! And when hubby said he loves a dish, that is rare, and he did about this. Only thing I did different is I accidently added too much Italian dressing. And I used the light dressing. I also sprinkled some garlic powder over the slices and put the chopped basil on to bake in the flavor, since it was covered for most of the cooking time. This is a winner!
