Original recipe yields 1 serving
2 large potatoes
1 medium onion
2 large carrots
1 can peas
4 Tbsp butter or margarine
4 Tbsp flour
2 cups milk
1 large can tuna fish
Saltines
Additonal butter for top

Let's Make It

Cut potatoes into chunks. Slice onion & carrots. Simmer all until done. Drain & place in casserole. Add peas.

White sauce: Melt butter in a sauce pan. Add flour & stir & simmer for a minute. Remove from heat & add milk. Return to medium heat, stirring often until thickened. Pour over vegetables.

Add tuna broken up & stir all together. Crumble saltines over the top & add pieces of butter or margarine on top of saltines.

Put in a 350 degrees F oven for approx 20-30 minutes until edges start to boil & crackers are a light brown.
