1/2 cup shortening
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 cups flour
1 cup sour milk
cups 1-1/2 to 2 rhubarb
Topping
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Cream brown sugar, shortening and egg. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with sour milk. Stir in rhubarb.

Pour batter into pan. Top with white sugar, cinnamon and nuts.

Bake 350°F for 35 minutes.
