Original recipe yields 1 serving
4 1/2 cups all purpose flour, divided
2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon s salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 package s rapid rise yeast
3/4 cup (3 ounces) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 cups warm water
2 tablespoon shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Let's Make It
Combine 2 cups flour, sugar, salt, pepper, yeast, 3/4 cup cheese, onion, and butter in a large bowl. Gradually add water to mixture, beating at high speed of an electric mixer. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Gradually stir in remaining 2 1/2 cups flour, dough will be sticky. Cover, let rest 10 minutes
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Stir batter down; stir well for 30 seconds. Spoon into a greased round 2 quart casserole. Cover and let rise in a warm place, free from drafts, 15 minutes or until doubled. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of cheese on top.
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until loaf sounds hollow when tapped. Remove bread from pan immediately; cool on wire rack.
