Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 can (15 ounce) pumpkin puree
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
3 1/2 cups flour
3 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon s baking soda
2 teaspoon s ground cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoon s salt
1 1/2 teaspoon s ground allspice
1 1/2 teaspoon s ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Combine pumpkin, oil and eggs. Sift together dry ingredients, except the walnuts. Combine the two mixtures, mixing thoroughly (do not use an electric mixer). Fold in the walnuts.

Pour into 2 greased 9x5x 3-inch loaf pans.

Bake at 300 degrees F for 1 hour.
