Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 head romaine lettuce
2 red apples, chopped and peeled
2 green pears, chopped and peeled
1 cup Craisins (dried cranberries)
8 oz Kraft Grated Swiss Cheese
1 cup cashews
Dressing:
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2/3 cup lemon juice
1 and 1/3 cup oil
2 Tablespoons chopped onion
2 Tablespoons poppy seeds
1 teaspoon salt

Tear lettuce to bite size pieces. Peel and chop apples and pears to bite size pieces. Mix lettuce, apples, pears, Craisins, cheese, and cashews. Set aside.

In blender mix sugar, mustard, lemon juice, oil, onion, poppy seed, and salt until mixed well.

Pour over salad and stir. Refrigerate a few minutes prior to serving.
