Pumpkin Pie

Original recipe yields 1 serving
3 eggs, beaten slightly
1 cup granulated or brown sugar (I like brown, it gives nicer color)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ginger
1 can (15 oz. - not quite 2 cups) pumpkin
1 cup evaporated milk
1 unbaked pie shell

Combine eggs, sugar, salt and spices. Beat well. Blend in pumpkin. Add milk and beat well.

Put into unbaked pie shell.

Bake at 450 degrees F for 10 minutes and then at 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes. Test for doneness by inserting a knife blade in center. It comes out clean when pie is done.
