Soften butter (not to room temp, but just before....still needs to be firm). Stir in powdered sugar, vanilla, and almond. Then slowly stir in the flour until all combined.
Roll into 1-2 inch balls. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F for 12 minutes.
Get bowl, pour in 3/4 cup powdered sugar and sprinkle nutmeg (1 tsp. or less to taste). Cool balls for 1 minute, then roll in powdered sugar mix until lightly covered. Place on plate. Create more mixture to roll, if necessary. Use remaining to sprinkle over cookies if need be.
