2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon s baking soda
1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, undrained
2/3 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Mix sugar, flour, eggs, baking soda, pineapple & juice in a bowl. (Do not use mixer.) Add nuts.

Pour into a 9 x 12 greased & floured baking pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-- 35 minutes.
