Original recipe yields 1 serving
5 lb bag red or green apples, peeled and cored, chopped
1 bag red hots
2 loaf s dried French bread
Whipping cream any kind
Cinnamon

Peel and core apples, cut into small to medium pieces. Place in a large pot with enough water to cover, boil until tender, drain apples. Put red hots in apples and stir until red hots disappear. Let cool.

In large clear bowl, put a layer of dried bread crumbs, then the cooled apples, then a layer of whipping cream, sprinkle with cinnamon. Keep doing these steps until bowl is full.

Place in refrigerator.
