Cook noodles using package directions; drain. Combine the noodles and the tuna, mayonnaise, celery, onion, green pepper, pimiento and salt. Blend the soup and milk; heat. Add the cheese and stir till the cheese melts. Add to the noodle mixture.
Turn into 2 qt casserole. If desired, top with almonds.
Bake uncovered at 425°F for 20 to 25 minutes.
