Prepare cake mix as directed. Pour mix into a 11x7 baking pan. Cook as directed. Cool cake. Prick holes with toothpick all over the top of cake making sure to put toothpick all the way through.
Make Jell-O 1/2 strength and pour into holes, cover with plastic wrap and put in refrigerator until Jell-O is set, approximately 2 hours.
Spread the large container of Cool Whip over top of cake and enjoy...
