Grease extra large glass baking dish or 13x9-inch cake pan. Put potatoes in dish and cover with 1/2 cup melted margarine. Sprinkle with onion, salt and pepper.
Combine milk and soup, pour over potatoes. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over mixture. Combine corn flakes and 1/2 cup melted margarine, sprinkle over potatoes.
Bake at 350°F for 1 hour. ENJOY!!!
