Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 - 2 lb round steak, (beaten thin) cut into serving size
Garlic salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Salt to taste
2 cups flour
1/4 cup oil (for frying)
GRAVY:
1/4 cup steak drippings & bits
3 Tbsp flour, or as much is needed
1 can (8 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
8 oz milk
Water if too thick
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Season steak with garlic, pepper, and salt. In bowl mix flour and more garlic, pepper, salt. Dip steak in flour.

In med. heated pan fry steak 10 min. on each side or till bread is golden brown. Remove from pan, set aside.

Gravy:

In pan heat steak bits & drippings. Add flour stir until lightly brown. Then add can mushroom soup, stir till smooth. Add milk while stirring. Add water if too thick, until desired thickness.

Put to simmer and add steak to gravy. Cook for 30 minutes. Steak will be more tender in gravy or just serve over steak.
