Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 bag (8 to 12 oz.) cranberries (fresh is better but frozen works fine)
2 cups water
1 cup sugar or sugar substitute (you may need to adjust this depending on the tartness of berries)
1 small package Jell-O Raspberry Flavor Gelatin (may use either regular or sugar free)

Place washed/cleaned cranberries with water in sauce pan and bring to boil. As the cranberries cook they will pop and water will become red with juice.

After most of the berries have burst, remove from heat and add sugar & Raspberry Jell-O Gelatin mix. Stir until sugar & Jell-O mix are completely dissolved.

Pour mixture into dish & refrigerate. Usually takes 6 to 8 hours to set up. This can be accelerated by placing in the freezer for the first hour.
