Spiced Nuts

Original recipe yields 1 serving
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1 egg white
1 tsp cold water
1 lb pecans

Combine sugar, salt, and spices in a small bowl. In separate bowl, beat egg white and cold water until frothy but not stiff. Add nuts and stir until coated. Add sugar and spice mixture to nuts and stir until all nuts are well coated with spices.

Place on buttered shallow pan.

Bake at 225 degrees F for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
