Mom's Rosettes

Original recipe yields 1 serving
5 eggs
5 cups milk
3/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 Tbsp lemon or pineapple extract
Enough flour to make thin batter
Oil to cook
Powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar (optional)

Let's Make It

Mix together first five ingredients. Slowly mix in flour until pancake mix consistency.

Heat rosette irons in hot oil. Dip irons in batter just up to but not beyond the top edge of the irons.

Use irons to flip after golden and remove using tongs after a few seconds. Can drop into powdered sugar or cinnamon and sugar mix.
