Original recipe yields 1 serving
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 onion, chopped
1 cup diced celery
18 slices bread, cubed (8 cups)
1/8 cup minced parsley
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 pepper (I use white pepper)
1/4 teaspoon sage
1/4 teaspoon thyme
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup chicken stock; 1 bouillon cube dissolved in water (if dressing too dry you just have to judge how much with any)
1 mushroom canned, chopped (optional)

Melt margarine in a saucepan; add onions and celery. Cook until onion and celery are tender. Remove from heat.

Add bread cubes, seasonings and eggs; mix well.

At this point judge to see if dressing needs more moisture. Add a little stock in at a time because, you can always add more but, can't take it out.
