Let's Make It
Preheat oven to 375°F. With mixer cream together the shortening and sugar. Then add pumpkin and vanilla. In a separate bowl, sift dry ingredients together. Gradually combine dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Hand mix in raisins, nuts or chocolate chips.
Spoon onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake for 12-15 minutes.
