Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, divided
1 Tbsp water
1 Tbsp vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
3/4 cup pecans, chopped fine

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

2. Beat butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add water and vanilla. Gradually add flour and nuts, beating until well-mixed.

3. Refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.

4. Roll dough into 1" balls. Place 1" apart on ungreased baking sheet.

5. Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned on the bottom. Cool on wire racks 10 minutes.

6. Roll in remaining powdered sugar.

7. When completely cool, roll again in powdered sugar.
