15 oz can crushed pineapple
2 large cans sweet potatoes
1 stick butter
1/2 box light brown sugar (1 lb. box) Cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger
Liquid of 1 can of the sweet potatoes

Drain pineapple, and then spread in the bottom of a 13x9 casserole dish. Place the potatoes on top of the pineapple. Dot with stick of butter. Sprinkle on the brown sugar and then sprinkle with the spices to taste. Don't get too heavy with the spices. Pour the liquid of 1 can of the potatoes over the layers in the dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.
