Melt butter in large skillet, add mushrooms, onion, bell pepper and garlic. Cook 5 minutes. Add pecans. Cook 1 minute.
Add rice and broth, season with salt and pepper. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat.
Cook until rice is done, about 45 minutes.
