Put slices of bread with crusts removed in bottom of greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese over the bread. Cook sausage. Drain & crumble meat and put on top of cheese. Beat eggs with 2 1/2 cups of milk and dry mustard. Spread over sausage. Cover and put in refrigerator overnight.
In morning take out of refrigerator and mix l/2 cup milk with golden mushroom soup. Pour over casserole.
Bake uncovered at 325 degrees F for l l/2 hours. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
