3 cups quick oatmeal, Chinese noodles, or Post Shredded Wheat crushed
1 cup margarine or butter
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

Place oatmeal in heat proof bowl (or the Chinese noodles or Post Shredded Wheat)
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt margarine and chocolate chips till smooth. Add brown sugar, continue heating till dissolved. Add peanut butter and vanilla. heat till just starting to bubble. Pour over oatmeal, stirring well.
Drop by heaping spoonful onto wax paper, allow to cool. Best stored in closed container in cool place, or refrigerate.
