1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans
2 Tbsp butter
2 eggs, well beaten
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup maple syrup
1 prepared graham cracker pie crust
Cool Whip for topping

Toast pecans in butter. Mix eggs, sweetened condensed milk, and maple syrup in a heavy sauce pan. Bring mixture to a boil. Add toasted pecans, continue stirring till thick. Watch closely so it does not scorch.

When thick, pour into graham cracker pie crust. Cool.

Add Cool Whip topping to each slice when serving.
