Melt butter and unsweetened chocolate together. Sift together flour and salt. Add liquid ingredients to egg mixture, alternately with dry ingredients.
Spread in greased 9" square pan.
Bake in preheated 350 degrees F oven for 20 - 25 minutes.
Melt together unsweetened chocolate and margarine. Add confectioners' sugar and mix well. Add boiling water, a little at a time, until mixture is the consistency of frosting.
