In large bowl mix flour and baking soda; set aside. In separate bowl cream margarine, both sugars and vanilla till smooth. Add in eggs, mix well. Slowly add flour mixture till well mixed. With knife, coarsely chop chips, add to mixture.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, just till lightly golden. Cool on baking rack.
