Combine oil, vinegar, dill, salt, sugar and pepper in a medium glass bowl. Whisk until well blended. Add cucumber slices and toss until all are coated.
Cover and chill at least 3 hours.
Arrange sliced tomatoes on individual plates. Spoon cucumber mixture over tomatoes and serve.
