Chop broccoli and onion. In a large bowl mix in broccoli, onion, cheese, raisins and cooked bacon. I like to use the real bacon bits you can buy at the store, this takes less time.
Dressing: Mix mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar together.
Pour mixture over salad about thirty minutes before serving. Chill until ready to serve.
