Melt chocolate, sugar and water in microwave for few seconds till melted, stir. Set aside to cool.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Cream white sugar, brown sugar and shortening. Blend in eggs, milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients, beat well. Stir in coconut.
Spread into 9x13 greased pan. Drizzle chocolate mixture over batter then draw knife thru in diagonal pattern.
Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes. Cool slightly then cut into 24 bars.
