Let's Make It
Take 1 piece of chicken and coat it with basil leaves, salt, and pepper. Take a piece of aluminum foil and put a puddle of chicken broth on the bottom and curve up the ends so that the liquid doesn't spill out. Sit the chicken inside of it.
Cut up 1 - 1 1/2 potatoes per chicken foil meal and lay it around and on top of chicken. Season the layer of potatoes with the same seasonings used on chicken. Cut up a handful of carrots and season. Pour chicken broth over the carrots and potatoes. Not required but you can put slivers of onions over the layers
Set your oven to 450°F and cook for 15 min on that temperature. Then, turn down to 425°F for 10 min. Then, for the last 10 min, cook on 400°F. It takes anywhere from 35-45 min to cook. It's done when the potatoes and carrots are tender (to your liking). Enjoy!!
