Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 pound round steak, tenderized
1/4 cup flour
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, sliced
2 cups carrots, sliced
1 can (14.5 oz.) whole tomatoes
1/2 cup beef broth

Cut the round steak into 5 or 6 pieces. Shake the steak with the flour, salt and pepper. Brown the steak in the olive oil. Cut the onion into slices, clean the carrots and cut into slices. This can be done in a food proccessor.

When the steak is brown, layer the steak, onions, carrots into a 5 quart crock-pot. Top the layers with the whole tomatoes and beef broth.

Put the lid on and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours. Serve with rice, potatoes or pasta.
