In medium sauce pan combine cocoa, sugar, flour, and salt. Stir in milk and cook on medium heat constantly until it boils and thickens. Cook 2 minutes longer and remove from heat.
Stir small amount into egg yolks. Mix egg mixture in saucepan. Cook 2 minutes longer stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add vanilla and butter. Cover and cool before adding to crust.
