Mix butter and sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, beating after each one. Beating after each egg makes the cake come out very light. Then add vanilla and flour.
Bake in large bundt pan, well greased. Bake at 325°F for 1 hr 25 min.
While still warm sprinkle confectioners' sugar on top.
