Original recipe yields 1 serving
2 boxes (12 ounce each) rotini tri-color pasta
1 small red onion, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
8 ounces shredded carrots
8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
Diced or sliced chicken, turkey, ham (optional)
1 bottle (16 ounce) Kraft Creamy Italian Dressing, divided
Salt & pepper (optional)
1 pkg cherry tomatoes, halved

Let's Make It

Cook pasta. Drain, rinse and cool. Place in large bowl.

Add onions, peppers, carrots, cheese and meat if desired.

Pour half dressing over pasta mixture; toss to coat. Salt and pepper to taste. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Add halved tomatoes and remaining dressing, tossing to mix, before serving.
