Pecan Pie

Original recipe yields 1 serving
3 eggs
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup light Karo syrup
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
A few whole pecans
1 9 " deep dish pie shell

Beat eggs, set aside. Melt butter in saucepan, and mix together ALL ingredients except pecans. After everything is mixed then add chopped pecans.

Pour into pie shell. Place whole pecans on top. Wrap edges of piecrust with foil.

Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees F. Remove foil and continue to bake for another 20 minutes.
