Stuffed Mushrooms

15-20 large loose mushrooms
1 lb country style sausage
1 pkg (8 oz.) cream cheese
2 green onions, chopped (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste

Remove stems from mushrooms. Clean well and set aside. In medium skillet brown sausage, drain fat and let cool slightly. In mixing bowl, add cream cheese and sausage mix well until blended. Add onion. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Stuff mushrooms and place in a casserole dish.

Bake in 350 degrees F oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
