5 full strips raw bacon, cut up into 1/2 inch pieces and separated
1 lb fresh green beans, cleaned and snapped
1/4 cup water

Let's Make It
Using a non-stick skillet, put margarine and bacon in skillet first. Turn on heat to medium.
When margarine starts to melt and bacon starts to sizzle, add green beans. Add water, salt, and pepper.
Stirring occasionally - as you stir the beans keep pushing the bacon pieces to the bottom of the skillet. This way the bacon keeps getting browned and the oil from the bacon keeps the beans from sticking to the skillet. Keep cooking till it is done to your taste. I don't worry about slightly burning the beans, some of us like it that way.
