Let's Make It
Heat pan with oil and add chicken (can pepper it and season if desired. Cover and simmer about 15 minutes. Flip the chicken and cover and simmer 15 more minutes. Keep simmering till done (no pink juices). When done let cool and shred.
While that is simmering, add mushroom soup in a pan and whisk with 1 can of milk. Heat on low till low boil…keep stirring. Also while those are simmering, prepare stuffing according to box instructions. Set aside to cool and fluff with fork.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare 13x9 baking dish by spraying with a no-stick spray or butter the pan. Press stuffing onto bottom of pan then sprinkle shredded chicken on top of that, add 1/2 of the soup spreading evenly over pan. Then layer the cheese on top of that, covering all. Then put more stuffing on top of the cheese mostly covering it. Sprinkle more chicken on the stuffing, then pour the rest of the soup over that and add the cheese slices on top.
Put in oven and bake till cheese is melted or slightly browned on top...about 20-30 min. Take out and let it cool slightly...it sets up and is easier to get out if you let it set up nicely. Enjoy!!!
