Lightly spray a large skillet with non-stick spray. Combine all the ingredients in a medium bowl, stirring with a spoon ONLY to point that everything is mixed together. (It will be lumpy.) Let mixture rest 4-5 minutes while the skillet heats up.
When it is medium-hot, pour pancakes one at a time, making them the size your family likes. Cook, turning once until pancakes are golden brown on both sides.
While pancakes are cooking, put a small pat of butter on each person's plate and cover with syrup. Smash together with a fork until it is all mixed together. When the pancakes are done, slide them directly onto the plates, melting the butter in the syrup under them.
