1 can (No. 2 ½ -- 3 1/2 cups) crushed pineapple, undrained
3 cups fresh blueberries, washed and drained
3/4 cups sugar (or less)
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick margarine, melted
1 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup sugar (or less)

Lightly grease oblong pan and spread undrained pineapple over bottom, add layer of blueberries.
Sprinkle 3/4 cup sugar over this. Sprinkle cake mix over fruit, drizzle melted margarine over cake mix. Top with chopped pecans and 1/4 cup sugar.
Bake 350 degrees F for 35-45 minutes. Serve with Cool Whip or ice cream.
