2 pkg (4 oz. each) BAKER'S GERMAN'S Sweet Chocolate, divided
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp CALUMET Baking Powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup BAKER'S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut, toasted
1 cup chopped PLANTERS Pecan Halves, toasted

MICROWAVE 1 bar of the chocolate, broken in half, in microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes until almost melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted; set aside. Mix flour, baking powder and salt in medium bowl; set aside. Chop remaining bar chocolate.
BEAT butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Stir in melted chocolate. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chopped chocolate, coconut and pecans. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
BAKE at 375°F for 10 minutes or until cookies are puffed and feel set to the touch. Cool on cookie sheets 1 minute. Remove to wire racks and cool completely.
